Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 20, 2026
Last Updated: May 20, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sammy Electrical Services website at sammyelectricalservices.com (the “Site”) and any forms or communications you submit through the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms govern use of the Site only. Any electrical services Sammy Electrical Services performs for you are governed by a separate written service agreement, work order, or invoice that complies with California Business and Professions Code § 7159 and other applicable contractor laws. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the signed service agreement controls for the work it covers.

1. About Sammy Electrical Services

Sammy Electrical Services is a licensed C-10 electrical contractor based in La Mirada, California. We provide residential and commercial electrical services in Los Angeles County and Orange County under California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) License #1036587. Information about our license, including its current status, is available from the CSLB at www.cslb.ca.gov.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Site, our servers, or our technical delivery systems.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network connected to the Site, or breach any security or authentication measures.
  • Forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or submission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the access of any user, host, or network, including sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing the Site.
  • Submit fraudulent, abusive, or misleading information through any form, or impersonate another person.
  • Use the Site or any of its content for unsolicited commercial communications, automated data collection, or unauthorized scraping.
  • Use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair it or interfere with any other party’s use.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms.

3. Free Estimates and Quotes

Estimates and quotes provided through the Site, by phone, by email, or during an on-site visit are non-binding informational estimates. Final pricing depends on actual scope, site conditions, code requirements, permit fees, utility coordination, materials, and any change orders. A binding agreement exists only after both parties sign a written service agreement that complies with California contractor law.

4. Permits, Inspections, and Code Compliance

Sammy Electrical Services performs work in accordance with the California Electrical Code and applicable local amendments. When required by the local jurisdiction, we coordinate the necessary permits, inspections, and utility approvals. The customer is responsible for providing access to the work area, accurate information about the existing electrical system, and any homeowner association approvals, landlord approvals, or other third-party authorizations needed before work can begin.

5. Workmanship Warranty

Sammy Electrical Services provides an 18-month limited warranty on qualifying parts and labor we furnish and install. The warranty period begins on the date the work is substantially completed.

This warranty covers defects in our workmanship and in materials we supplied. It does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, vandalism, fire, flood, lightning, power surges, animals, or other events outside our control.
  • Damage caused by modification, repair, or alteration performed by anyone other than Sammy Electrical Services after the work is completed.
  • Failure of equipment, fixtures, devices, or appliances supplied by the customer or a third party. Such items are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
  • Normal wear and tear, including expected aging of LED drivers, ballasts, or other consumable components.
  • Pre-existing electrical or structural conditions disclosed or discoverable on the original visit.
  • Work performed for which we did not provide a written quote or invoice.

To make a warranty claim, contact us at the address, phone, or email below within the warranty period. Our remedy is, at our option, to repair the defective work or to refund the portion of the price attributable to the defective work. This warranty is offered in addition to any rights you may have under California law.

6. Customer Cancellation

If your service agreement was solicited at your residence and the total contract price is more than $25, you have the right to cancel the agreement within three business days of signing under the California Home Solicitation Sales Act. Your service agreement will include the required notice of right to cancel. For appointments scheduled through the Site, you may reschedule or cancel without penalty by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a trip or scheduling fee, which will be disclosed in advance.

7. Payment and Invoicing

Payment terms are specified in the written service agreement, work order, or invoice for your project. We typically accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, cash, cryptocurrency, and online payments. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by California law and may be subject to collection costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs.

8. Mechanics Lien Notice

Under California law, contractors performing residential home improvement work valued over a statutory threshold must include a Notice of Mechanics Lien Warning in the contract document. This notice will be provided to you in the written service agreement, not on this Site. Nothing in these Terms waives or modifies any rights or protections provided to consumers under the Mechanics Lien laws of California.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, photographs, graphics, layout, and code, is owned by Sammy Electrical Services or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print Site content for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use, including reproduction, redistribution, commercial use, modification, or framing, requires our prior written permission.

“Sammy Electrical Services” and our logo are marks of Sammy Electrical Services. Other trademarks and trade names referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

10. Third-Party Products and Brands

When we install third-party products (such as Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, Emporia, Square D, Eaton, Siemens, or similar brands), those products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We do not make any independent warranty regarding third-party products beyond our workmanship warranty in Section 5. Brand names used on the Site are for identification only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

11. No Professional Advice

Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for a licensed electrician’s on-site evaluation of your specific electrical system. Do not rely on Site content to perform electrical work yourself. Electrical work performed by unlicensed individuals can create fire and shock hazards and may violate California law.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sammy Electrical Services disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding the Site itself, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and accuracy. This disclaimer applies to the Site only and does not limit or replace the workmanship warranty in Section 5 or any rights you may have under California law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sammy Electrical Services and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Our total cumulative liability under these Terms for any claim relating to use of the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under California law, including liability for gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sammy Electrical Services and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claim, damage, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or any content you submit through the Site that infringes the rights of another or violates applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You and Sammy Electrical Services consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. Nothing in this section limits your rights to seek relief from a California small claims court or to bring claims that cannot be subject to a forum-selection clause under California law.

16. Contractor License Disputes

Contractors are required by California law to be licensed and regulated by the CSLB. Any questions concerning a contractor may be referred to the registrar of the CSLB. Mailing address: Contractors State License Board, P.O. Box 26000, Sacramento, CA 95826. Website: www.cslb.ca.gov.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written service agreement you sign for specific work, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sammy Electrical Services regarding the subject matter and supersede any prior agreements regarding the Site.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
