Standard We Follow

Our website targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including limitations affecting vision, hearing, motor ability, and cognitive function.

While we work to meet and maintain Level AA conformance across every page, some parts of the site may not yet fully conform. When we find a gap, we fix it.

What We Have Done

Our work to make this site accessible includes the following:

• Semantic HTML with clear page landmarks (banner, main, navigation, contentinfo) and proper heading hierarchy on every page.
• A skip-to-content link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, with sufficient contrast against every background used on the site.
• Form labels tied to inputs, clear required-field signaling, descriptive autocomplete attributes, and error messages announced to screen readers.
• Text and background color combinations chosen to meet or exceed the WCAG AA 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text and user-interface components.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative icons hidden from assistive technology.
• Keyboard-accessible navigation, including a mobile menu that can be opened, navigated, and closed with the keyboard.
• Respect for the operating-system "Reduce motion" preference, which disables our scroll animations and transitions for users who request it.
• Click-to-call telephone links and a sticky mobile call button so visitors with limited dexterity can reach us quickly.

Known Limitations

We are aware that no website is perfect. Areas we are actively working to improve include:

• Third-party embeds (for example, social media links to Instagram, Facebook, Google, Yelp, and Nextdoor) lead to external sites whose accessibility we do not control.
• Older PDFs or downloadable documents linked from the site may not yet be fully tagged for screen-reader use. If you need an accessible version of a specific document, please contact us and we will provide one promptly.

How to Report an Accessibility Issue

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or if you encounter a barrier that makes it difficult to access our information or services, please let us know. We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and, in the meantime, provide the information you need by another means.

Assessment and Review

We review the accessibility of our website on an ongoing basis. Our most recent internal review was conducted on May 25, 2026. The site was evaluated against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria including, but not limited to, keyboard accessibility, color contrast, form labeling, focus visibility, alternative text, heading structure, motion preferences, and the use of ARIA attributes.

This statement was last updated on May 25, 2026. As the site evolves we will continue to update this statement to reflect our current accessibility status.

Formal Complaints

We aim to resolve every concern quickly and directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, or with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing under the Unruh Civil Rights Act. Contacting us first allows us to address the issue and provide the requested information without delay.
